            Through misfortune Nikolaus shot Johannes Quanz, (1848 - 1860) in an accident.

                        After Nikolaus’ death his wife moved back to Buchenau her home town (where she died in 1896).

            The rest of the family moved to Seckbach in 1860.

             Heinz Georg Quanz was born on April 22, 1926 in “Lahr in Baden”. Heinz first wife died when his son Karl-Heinz was 6 years old. Karl-Heinz was born on the April 11, 1951. Karl-Heinz is not married.

Then Heinz Georg married Helga Pätsch on the January 29, 1958. Their first daughter, Ruth, was born on February 18, 1958. Ruth Quanz was married July 18, 1980 and her married surname is Ullrich.
Another son, Thomas, was born on the March 15, 1962 - he is also not married.
Heinz third son, Guido, was born on February 7, 1967. On December 4, 2002 he married Heike Weber. Guido and Heike have a daughter, Saskia, November 10, 1999.
