Valentine Quanz

Rick and I are interested in tracing the family. We have traced our famliy back to Valentine & Minnie Quanz. We have limited information. Rick’s cousin is Charlene. Who is now living in Minnesota. We would like to find out if Adam and Valentine were indeed brothers.

Rick and his family were born in New York.They moved to Alubquerque, New Mexico in 1969. We find it interesting that the names Adam and Richard have come up. We have three sons, Adam, Andrew and Daniel.'we look forward to hearing from you.

Valentine Quanz

I have a Valentine Quanz Born 1863 in Germany, died July 20, 1939

He married Minnie Klineh.  She was born 1868 in Germany and died July, 1, 1908 in Manhatten, NY

Their children:

Charles Quanz  born 8-1-1888

Valentine Quanz  born 12-25-1889

Minnie Quanz born 7-1-1895

 

Based on information provided by Gail Quanz, Valentine seems to have been born in Frankfurt which is about 2 hours west of Schlotzau/Buchenau. The Valentine Quanz family spent many years in Manhattan, New York City, New York.

 

I have some names and dates.

Louis B. Quanz born 10-30-1916 Died 8-31-1917.

Violet Alberta Quanz born 7-2-1920. Don't remember the date but she died of cancer around 1983.

Walter Quanz born 7-7-1922 Died 4-11-1952  in Manhatten, NY

Robert Donald Quanz born 4-20-1925 Died 9-17-1974 in Albuquerque NM. He died of a massive heart attack.

William Russell Quanz born 10-6-1934

 

 

Robert Donald Quanz married Frances Ann Scimonelli 4-22-1951 in Brooklyn NY.

Their Children:

Debra Ann born 3-12-1952. Married Stephen LoGuercio in Rio Rancho, NM.

Robert Michael born 11-3-1954.

Richard James born 7-15-1955. Married Barbara Putzier 7-20-1081 in Albuquerque, NM.

Katherine Mary born 5-9-1957. Married Louis Martinez in Rio Rancho, NM. Louis died.

Wendy born 9-3-1960. Married Michael McIntire in Albu, NM. They divorced and she remarried Joseph Iorg.

Patricia Lynn born 7-7-1967 Married Marcos Salaz in Albu, NM
